MOULD TREATMENT
Mould plays a key role in the global ecosystem. It is present to varying degrees inside and outside buildings and poses no danger to health.
Toxic mould consists of high concentrations of mould inside a building, far exceeding natural levels. Exposure to mould can trigger eye irritation, nasal discharge, nausea, aggravation of asthma attacks, and several other serious health issues. Toxic mould must be identified through visual inspection, with a surface or air sample.
The following materials are likely to contain mould.
Drywall and wallpaper
Wood and wood products
Ceiling tiles and carpets
Furniture and other porous materials
